February 5th will be a Career Fair for the Grade 5/6/8 students. Similar to the one we held for the Grade 6/7 last year. We will be expanding it this year with a request for some volunteers from our trades community. We will be looking for people willing to come out and spend the day talking with the students about their trade – we do have the High School trade committee bringing supplies to do hands on activities for some of the trades. We want to add to the hands on activities conversations with people that do the trade everyday. If you would like to volunteer for something like this we would need a Criminal Record check completed before hand. These are some of the trades we are considering for this year:

2. Textiles
3. Carpentry
4. Horticulture 
5. Culinary Arts
6. Mechanics
